My PhD at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, focused on human milk composition and shelf-life stability. I’ve authored scientific papers, contributed to book chapters, and worked on product development in nutrition and food technology. As a faculty member at Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, I guided students and led several academic projects.
I’ve collaborated with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), contributing to food safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and technical policy development. This gave me deep insights into both national and international food safety guidelines.
I’ve been part of several initiatives in India and abroad, particularly those focused on maternal and child health. My work with SNEHA, Mumbai, allowed me to contribute to community-based interventions in maternity and referral services, policy support, and capacity-building.
I am also a Certified Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), breastfeeding, and lactation counsellor, committed to bringing practical, evidence-based support to families.
Through my journey, one thing has always stayed close to my heart: empowering mothers, children, and families with the right knowledge and care for better nutrition and health.
